This is one video you'll want to watch full-screen.
Shot from a hang glider in June, it begins with a hair-raising leap off a cliff toward the granite massif of Half Dome. Extraordinary bird's-eye views of Yosemite Valley follow, particularly Half Dome and Yosemite Falls.
At 1:14, you can begin to make out the dot of a rock climber's tent perched on a granite wall. Watch carefully at 2:06 and you'll see the pilot's head pop into the upper-left-hand corner of the screen. Finally, after a long descent, the glider comes to bumpy landing in a patch of grass.
