Watch: A Rare, High-Altitude Tornado Strikes Colorado

At 11,800 feet, it's one of the highest tornadoes ever recorded

One of the world's highest recorded tornados formed on Saturday close to the summit of Mt. Evans in Colorado. The tornado touched down at 11,800 feet near Aurora, Colo. Tornados at this height aren't unheard of, but are extremely rare.
