Before approaching the Florida Keys on Sunday, Tropical Storm Isaac wreaked havoc in a few Caribbean islands. Both Cuba and Haiti were hit with heavy winds and rain that caused flooding, power outages and downed trees. At least seven people were killed in Haiti, which -- still recovering from the 2010 earthquake -- is prone to flooding and mudslides.

The man got out of the water safely on his own. Tropical Storm Isaac pushed into Cuba on Saturday after sweeping across Haiti's southern peninsula. Isaac's center made landfall just before midday near the far-eastern tip of Cuba.

You never realise how many bigots, racists, and idiots are out there until you read a blog. Basically Tracie, you're a moron from Mississippi, the epitome of what we in the southwest call "an inbred southerner". Take offence to it, I don't care; it's your type that keep all of us in the backwoods, drinkin' moonshine and sleeping with our uncles. And before you say anything, I'm a white person; the difference? I'm an accepting Southern Baptist. Stop making us look bad.

ONE PHOTOGRAPH from MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST after Katrina?!! Our ENTIRE coastline was DEVASTATED!!! WIPED OUT!!! This is SO typical of the liberal media...only want to show pics of the 'poor black people' who were 'just hungry' but they stole everything BUT food in their looting!!!
I live in "the land mass between NOLA and Mobile" as the Weather Channel referred to Mississippi during coverage of Isaac!!

Oh, quit your whining; I bet you're one of those "It's all about me" people. Get a life, and if you think you have one, keep the receipt.

Furthermore, the picture shown above is in Haiti...there are nothing but Hatians there the last I checked; the only time we see a white person in Haiti is the tourists.

There is plenty of materials, food, medicines, vehicles, tents etc left from the earthquake nearly two years ago. The politicians are selling donations to their own people! Corruption in Haiti is rampant!
The donations from pres, Clinton's fund and the others have been miss used or simply stolen from the people.
Haiti do not need more help it needs new rule maybe even an onest dictator, If there is one in this world
The people without political power are due to loose everything in the countries as such as Haiti.

I was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and have lived through my share of storms, some severe, some not so bad, and some were devastating...through it all, my family has trusted in God for His protection, we've always survived them, sometimes with damage, sometimes with none.
When you choose to live here, or whether you were born and raised here, you KNOW THE DRILL when a storm is coming your way!!! BOARD UP AND GET TO HIGHER GROUND!!! It's just PART of living on the Coast!! Wouldn't want to live ANYWHERE else in the WHOLE world!!
