This raw video shot today shows the extent of flooding in St. John the Baptist Parish, which is located about 35 miles from New Orleans. Roughly 300 people were rescued from the area overnight and this morning. More than 3,000 were evacuated Wednesday. YouTube user okrajoe wrote, "Louisiana National Guard Aviation perform search and rescue missions in St. John the Baptist Parish."
