Tornados are one of nature's most terrifying and breathtaking forces. The following videos show just how magnificent and destructive they can be. Be advised that some of these clips contain offensive language -- a little swearing is probably understandable when you have a funnel cloud the size of a skyscraper bearing down on you.
Video above: Driving backwards can be challenging enough, but when you're doing it to avoid an oncoming tornado, it adds a whole new level of difficulty.

No injuries were associated with this tornado, which roared through Aurora, Neb., on June 17, 2009, damaging a farmhouse, crops and train.

This video is titled Train vs. Tornado. Spoiler alert: The tornado wins. This January 2008 tornado blew through northern Illinois, injuring five people, levelling buildings and uprooting trees. Fortunately, nobody was killed in the accident.
