interesting storm.. not much rain.. no thunder.. no lightning. Just a huge fan ever so slowly passing over the east coast.. slowly and destructively blowing away at every thing in its path for hours and hours!

I don't want to say I like this I am heartbroken to see the ruins of what remains of the Boadwalk @
" Seaside Heights" As so many others the memories are still fresh in my mind as we used to go for our summer vacation with our children. Now living in the south I only hope to someday visit the once beautiful
Seaside Heights and what it has to offer, once it is reborn again!!!!!

@ Mary1160 God gave me a flash that your going to hell for making a judgement and God spoken toward you to keep your mouth shut because you can be stoned for the lies you have told yourself and that you are a sinner yourself

Mary, your one sick Chix. The funny thing about it is God forgives you for being a self righteous pretend Jesus freak who uses Christ's good name for your sick mental disease of hate and bias. Good Luck with that. You must be a real lonely "Christian"

Once in a while when we humans---myself included---start feeling that we're really in total control of planet earth Mother Nature smacks us upside the head good and hard as a reminder of who is really running things. That smack can come in the form of an earthquake, a tsunami, a tornado or a hurricane but it's a reminder that natural events do occur that are beyond our control. All we can do is to 'weather the storm' and dig ourselves out of the mess afterwards. Planet Earth has been here for four billion years. We humans have been here for maybe 200,000 years. The planet will still be here long after we're gone.

My heart goes out to all of you with so much devastation from the storm. The devastation alone is enough to break you down and to not get the help and assistance you need in such a dark time from those you are supposed to go to for help and answers is unacceptable and pathetic. As in so many other circumstances and times of need we are left to depend on the only people we can depend on and that is ourselves and each other. Together perhaps your voice will get loud enough that someone will have to listen. Good luck to you all and my thoughts are with you.

If ignorance hurt, you would be on morphine iv drip!!I love the uber religious - just sit on your ass, flap your mouth and do nothing but wait for your god to do your work. Get up, shut up and do some real work. What a waste of time you are!!! Shame on you and your lazy fellow losers. Maybe you could try being part of the solution not the problem!!!
