My prayers go out to all in this storm. We need to ask God for the strength to survive.

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT THINK CORPORATIONS, WALL STREET, AND THE "DROWN THE GOVERNMENT IN THE BATHTUB" CROWD, ARE COMING TO OUR RESCUE, I HAVE A BRIDGE TO SELL TO YOU. THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT FOR YOUR IMMEDIATE ACTIONS. THANK YOU GOV.
CHRISTIE FOR YOUR HONESTY IN RECOGNIZING HIS EFFORTS.

I've hear of no offers from world leaders to seen relief personnel or funds to the US to help with the disaster recovery experienced by 1/3 of the US. Surely there have been offers made and international help is on its way. Thank goodness for this repayment of US past support to nations in need.

You're absolutely right, pgill90...my thoughts exactly! Where IS all the help from other countries in OUR time of need? We're always rushing to help them whenever a disaster hits their country! It doesn't surprise me though. We should stop running to help when everyone else needs help because I sure don't see anyone helping US right now!

How about Samaritan's Purse. They are out there helping already. There is no overhead with them. They donate it all.

Let us all be in prayer for everyone here and abroad. who has been inconvenienced by Sandy. May the businesses and the employees who were shut down and out of work find a way to make ends meet. May we look at this event as a time for global healing that we all may help in picking up the pieces and moving forward for a better world for all to live in. May the devastation remind us of how much we take fo granted and how little we actually need for survival. Let us rebuild and rekindle love peace as valuable commodities.
