Blizzard Likely to Strike Northwest

The worst of the winter storm threatens Montana and North Dakota

A new winter storm is expected to strike the West and Northwest later on Thursday, bringing the potential for heavy snow and severe weather conditions. Brutus, as the storm has been named, will start Thursday but could continue through the weekend, dumping the greatest amount of snow on Montana, where blizzard warnings are already in effect, as well as Sheridan, Wyo., Glasgow, Mont., Dickinson, N.D., Bismarck, N.D., and Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, according to AccuWeather.com.
