In the summer of 1994 I took my father to Alaska. It was very warm. In Anchorage the Holiday Inn had old worn out air conditioners. We suffered. We stayed in a lodge in Denali. We borrowed a fan from the front desk. Fairbanks was hot too. We stayed in a condo there which had a window air conditioner in one room. We moved the beds in there at "night". Valdez was great though. I was disappointed with the mosquitoes and heat. Overall a good trip but some surprises. Overall beauty, I like Colorado better.
Don't miss a single drop.
