Sandy-Battered Region Faces Another Weather Blast

Long Island could see more coastal flooding as blizzard strikes
Long Island Braces For Another Weather Blast

People on Long Island are bracing themselves - they're right in the storm's bullseye. After extreme power disruptions in the area following Superstorm Sandy, the Long Island Power Authority is giving up control and handing it over to the national grid, making it the first time in LIPA's history that it has ceded control. The area is also at risk for coastal flooding as the storm bears down.

Global warming, no now its climate change, so stop using carbon based fuels, pay more taxes, believe what you hear on TV, listen to the progressives, and your president. All will be better.

Learn the facts .....American gasoline usage has decreased substantially over the last few years. China with 4 times the population of the US has far worse air quality than the US. If carbon based fuels were to blame, maybe you should start in China. Do the opposite of the President's wishes before this country becomes a third world nation.

I never did hear anything but concern for Texas expressed, also Texans were the power crew that baled us out after twelve days of no heat or electricity here at the New Jersey shore. So I say God bless America and God bless the state of Texas!

Say NO to libs!

I'm on Long Island. The only "bracing" we did was to buy a bag of ice melt and a quart of milk.
