Watch: Super Typhoon Haiyan Slams Into PhilippinesSee the storm's incredible force
The strongest typhoon of the year, Haiyan, made landfall in the central Philippines on Friday with 147 mph and lashed beach communities with sustained winds over 125 mph. While its hard for most people to fathom what it would be like to experience a storm of that power, this video of Haiyan shot by Gabriel Lloyd Aque gives viewers a terrifying glimpse.
Haiyan is responsible for at least four deaths, and has set off landslides and knocked out power and communication lines in several provinces. Because of cut-off communications, it is impossible to know the complete extent of damage and casualties.
