I live in Rahway NJ. I am so tired of shoveling snow. I am 75 years old and ache from head to toe. A neighbor came by one day and helped but never came back to help again. When I was young you could see lots of young people going around to help shovel. Especially helping older people. What ever happened. Now more snow is expected. Will it ever end? UGH
you really shoudn\'t be shoveling ...put a sign or call ur town ..they maybe able to help if they can ...... we live in Toms river ...senior development ...they do the snow removasl the grass every 2 weeks in the summmer ..plus we have a pool and a clubhouse...out monthly fee\'s for all is 30.00 I really feel bad for you ..my hubby and I both suffer with our backs ..this is the best move we could have madeSincerely FloIf u want any info..on these homes ...get in touch with my hubby Jeff2480@aol.com...these young 1\'s are nothing like we were years ago..Hope to God ..you find some one to help you...it breaks my heart when I see this when ....we were young we helped all the elderly on our St ..and family
Naturally living in the north eastern states, you expect some snow and even ice, but not this much. It becomes a hard ship on the elderly, working people that drive to work, and the kids that attend school. The city does not seem prepared for those conditions. My opinion opening the schools on some of those days, was not a good idea. Those roads and streets were treacherous. I hope it has come to an end.
In the pic, that's NOT a snowblower. It's clearly a snow thrower. There's a big difference.
That is what winter is suspossed to be in New England.... SNOW, ICE, HAIL, WIND, and what ever else the LORD sends with it. Don't like it move to another State you think is going to be perfect. Ha ha!
Big deal. It's winter, it's snow. That is what winter is. Deal with it and have fun in it. If you can't drive in it, get a lesson.
Here's a radical idea that Jesus might approve: Help your neighbors. Some folks talk about climate change, but they don't do much of anything when the bad weather arrives. Although they talk about raising the price of energy, so that the elderly and others can freeze to death. (Fewer people means less pollution and more environment for the yuppies.)Some people ignore the winter storms. Some curse their neighbors. Some expect that Uncle Sam and big government will fix all of the cold weather problems. There's a better way to live. Look around and, then, help the people who need help.
God bless you all!!!! Wer\'e moving to Florida in 2015-one more year in the great northeast[I still don;t know what\'s so \"great\" about it]!!!!!!!!!!I Hate Snow and ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in 1975 my job transferred me to Alabama from connecticut thank you job and the lord
I have had it with the snow ! The worrying of your loved ones driving in it and driving it yourself is the worst. After the storm is over it would be nice if everyone showed some curiosity . Our town does not have a parking system where they alter one side of the street be closed one night and another the next night. They do a great job with the snow plows but it is the people that leave their cars parked on the street during the storm, it gets buried and then, when they do dig it out they leave big mountains that everyone has to go around! If someone coming down the street you have to wait... or the other way around. Come on mother nature! That's enough !
where are the people who have no wear to put the snow-they can't put in the street, they have to put it somewhere. God Bless them they are better than me, I moved to Florida in July. Happy to be a floridian again.
Don't miss a single drop.
