Welcome to the new AOL Weather!

We’ve been working on a number of changes to the site over the past few months. Some answers to your most frequently asked questions are below as well as some information on the new areas and functionality on the site. So, we hope you like the enhancements we’ve made and look forward to hearing your feedback.

Why can't I save non-U.S. cities as a hometown or a saved city?

  • At this time, the identifier used by aol.com to recall your weather settings is based on a US zip code. In the interest of creating a consistent experience for you between aol.com and weather.aol.com we have turned off the ability to save a non-US city as your hometown. In the future we will update the aol.com identifier to be global, not US specific.
