Arianespace's unmanned Ariane 5 rocket, carrying the automated transfer vehicle (ATV) Albert Einstein, lifts off June 5 in Kourou, French Guiana along South America's northeast coast. The ATV will resupply the International Space Station with 14,500 pounds of propellant, food, experiments, water and oxygen. A new art project does just that, transplanting the Big Apple to Mercury, Venus, Mars and our solar system's other non-dwarf planets (Pluto was not included).
